Pharmavite and the Community

Pharmavite, and its core brands Nature Made® and SOYJOY®, take great pride in our responsibility to the communities we serve. Community involvement is a fundamental value of the company because the people who work for Pharmavite really care about each other, customers and the community. Many of the programs Pharmavite supports are concentrated on what we do best – supporting essential nutrition. Whether it is donating funds, volunteering time, or providing its products to those in need, Pharmavite has established a reputation for contributing to initiatives that make a difference in the communities around us. These are just a few of the organizations we work with.
| | Vitamin Angels Vitamin Angels distributes vitamins to children in developing countries throughout the world in recognition that access to essential nutrients can save lives. Their mission is to mobilize resources to connect newborns, infants and children in need with nutrients that support good health and help fight infectious diseases. Pharmavite has contributed through financial and product donations to support initiatives led by Vitamin Angels. For example, Nature Made committed approximately 1.8 million vitamins to Vitamin Angels to distribute to victims of the earthquakes that struck Haiti.

The organization partners with public schools, churches, and other community and faith-based organizations to distribute nutrient rich foods and products, such as vitamins, to those in need across all 50 states. Through donations of Nature Made and SOYJOY products and financial contributions, Pharmavite has helped Nourish America reach thousands of Americans in need of essential nutrition.

| | Arthritis Foundation Arthritis is the nation’s leading cause of disability. It robs one in every five adults and 300,000 children of living life to its fullest. The Arthritis Foundation (www.arthritis.org) leads the way in helping people with arthritis live better today and create better tomorrows through new treatments, better access and, ultimately, cures. We do this by: - Funding life-changing research that has restored mobility in patients for more than six decades
- Fighting for health care policies that improve the lives of the millions of Americans with arthritis
- Partnering with families to provide empowering programs and information
As the nation’s largest private funder of research, public health programs and advocacy on behalf of the 50 million Americans with this painful and unacceptable disease, the Arthritis Foundation aims to reduce the number of people suffering from arthritis-related physical activity limitations by 20 percent by 2030. |
