The Customer Analyst is responsible for specific analysis, research, and insights that support sales opportunities for the Pharmavite brands at Kroger Corporation. This role participates in Kroger planning, reporting, and category trend detail, all driving gross sales, and profit. The Customer Analyst reports to the National Account Sales Director with dotted line responsibility to the Kroger Key Account Managers.

Critical contributions this role is counted on to deliver include:

  • Work cross-functionally with key Kroger team stakeholders
  • Participate and develop key presentations and joint business plans
  • Inventory, consumption, and out of stock analysis; promotional effectiveness; new item performance
  • Data input into Kroger VIP system for promotions and new items

The ideal candidate is a team player who is knowledgeable in Kroger specific data, reports, and analytical tools and develop convincing insights that can be leveraged to grow Pharmavite. You are comfortable working with internal and external management and are motivated to explore incremental opportunities for growth.

You'll be most successful in this role if you have:

  • Experience and knowledge of the nutrition and vitamin industry
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines with creativity and accuracy
  • Enjoys working cross-functionally while maintaining excellent working relationships
  • Works well under time pressure
  • Ability to interpret and articulate insightful ideas to the team

To take on these challenges, you'll need to have:

  • 1 - 3 years of category management/account analyst/field sales experience
  • Requires a four-year college degree or equivalent experience
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, PowerPoint, and Excel with the ability to manipulate data into useful insights
  • Knowledge and proficiency in 84.51, Market 6, and IRI data sources
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present to a broad audience
  • Experience in Health & Beauty Care preferred
