The Supply Planner is responsible for developing a supply strategy that ensures product availability in the most efficient manner for the business. This highly collaborative role will accomplish this through Master Production Scheduling, Dispatch Requirements Planning, Inventory Optimization, and utilizing the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process. The Supply Planner reports to the Planning Manager and has no direct reports.

Critical contributions this role is counted on to deliver include:

  • Developing a Master Production Schedule through collaboration with production teams and other key business partners.
  • Identifying supply risks and/or production capacity constraints and offering solutions to the business.
  • Effectively managing working capital by balancing customer service and inventory cost.
  • Representing supply chain in new product launches and optimization projects.
  • Proactively communicates supply risks and opportunities to supply chain; especially customer-facing supply chain.

The ideal candidate is recognized as an emerging leader who has demonstrated the ability to build strong relationships and a large circle of influence. You are process-oriented and love using data and metrics to inform decisions and improve processes. At the same time, you enjoy working with and motivating others to success -- regardless of reporting lines and are comfortable leading small teams.

You'll be most successful in this role if you have:

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences.
  • Demonstrated process improvement experience.
  • In-depth understanding of the end to end supply chain.
  • A deep understanding of supply and/or demand planning concepts.
  • The ability to pull and analyze the right data to inform business decisions.

In order to take on these challenges, you'll need to have:

  • At least 3 years of supply chain experience. Experience with Master Production Scheduling, Distribution Planning, Data Analytics, Inventory Management, Forecasting, Manufacturing, or Logistics is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, decision making, organizational, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Experience using an ERP system such as Oracle or SAP.
  • 4-year college or university degree or relevant work experience.
