The Manager, Distribution and Warehousing is responsible for managing and coordinating activities to support Manufacturing, Packaging and Logistics departments by overseeing activities involving receiving, storage, stacking, order filling, shipping and transportation. Maintain material and inventory control efficiencies. This role mentors and develops supervisory staff on Pharmavite's high performance culture and purpose. The Manager, Distribution and Warehousing reports to the Director of Customer Service and Integrated Logistics and manages a two-shift operation of Warehouse employees.

Critical contributions this role is counted on to deliver include:

  • Developing and ensuring departmental objectives are aligned to the organization's strategic objectives.
  • Establishing operating procedures that are aligned to "best practices" and ensuring appropriate staffing to deliver the department's strategic as well as short-term deliverables.
  • Creating department team goals and metrics to deliver results consistent with a high performing work team and cascading them, ensuring workload is distributed appropriately to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Creating an energizing work environment that supports the Company's high- performance culture while ensuring an efficient and flexible organization. Managing warehouses ensure materials flow to manufacturing, packaging, distribution and other functional areas ensuring delivery metrics are met.

The ideal candidate has a four-year degree, preferably in Business, Logistics or Engineering and a passion for metrics. You are a leader who can champion, challenge and motivate employees to world class performance.

You'll be most successful in this role if you have:

  • Successfully develop departmental objectives that are aligned to the organization's objectives.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and oral and written communication skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of inventory control, materials warehousing and ERP systems in support of these processes.
  • Ability to successfully interface with all levels of employees.
  • Comfort with Metrics
  • Experience in inventory and production control, warehousing and/or a manufacturing related discipline.
  • Established team goals and metrics to deliver results consistent with a high performing team.

In order to take on these challenges, you'll need to have:

  • Excellent organizational, analytical and oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to successfully interface with all levels.
  • 4-6 years experience in inventory and production control, warehousing and/or manufacturing, engineering or related discipline
  • Experience creating development plans and coaching individuals in achieving them
  • Establishing goals and metrics to deliver results consistent with a high performing team.
  • 4 year university degree, preferably in Business, Logistics or Engineering.
