The Supply Planner is responsible for leading and driving strategy, process and planning system improvements. This role influences the Supply Chain utilizing key planning techniques to support ideal customer service levels and inventory balances. The Supply Planner reports to Supply Chain Planning Manager and influences the planners daily work in the Supply Chain Planning Team.
Key Responsibilities
Critical contributions this role is counted on to deliver include:
Utilizing the MRP system Rapid Response, evaluates, maintains, and executes short and long-term production plans to support customer orders and forecast, while also aligning to inventory targets.
Executes the Distribution Plan by creating and monitoring inventory transfers for multiple distribution centers to maintain the finished goods needed to support projected customer demand and allocation plans.
Maintains a rough-cut capacity plan, including the resulting resource requirements and constraints, while making timely recommendations to the Supply Chain for required adjustments to the needs of facilities, equipment, and labor to ensure current demand can be met in addition to future growth opportunities that may occur.
Proactively identifies and resolves customer service, production, and inventory issues by detecting root causes and utilizing appropriate problem resolution / corrective action techniques. Ability to create executive level updates on critical supply issues.
Actively participates in S&OP, including generating, presenting executive level reports for Supply Reviews. Influences Supply Review content to support resolution of Supply Chain issues that impact customer service or inventory targets.
Influences adherence to plan while collaborating with operations, purchasing, third-party manufacturers, distribution, warehousing and other supply chain groups to resolve any issues that arise.
Acts as center of excellence in supply chain planning across the entire company by participating in or leading cross-functional teams.
Analyzes the end-to-end supply chain and defines the appropriate inventory strategy to deliver customer service while maximizing inventory and financial performance.
Supports Master Data maintenance in ERP system.
Measures, tracks critical KPI’s and drives improvement in areas such as fill rate, safety stock adherence, and working capital.
Utilizes key inventory concepts to influence optimization of inventory across the supply chain.
Participates and supports new product commercialization, new market, and new channel development efforts by providing product expertise, knowledge, and information.

The ideal candidate has experience in a fast paced, preferably CPG, environment. You are a leader, influential with cross-functional partners and team members, curious and driven to solve problems, and communicates effectively with all levels of the organization.
Critical Success Factors
You’ll be most successful in this role if you have:
Experience in a fast paced CPG company.
Knowledge of Planning systems, Kinaxis preferred. Knows how to utilize the system to get the most accurate output for Pharmavite.
Has working knowledge of Inventory policies and concepts, and can create policies based on Pharmavites service and inventory goals .
Can influence cross functional partners to achieve metrics.
Can clearly communicate issues and possible solutions at any level in the organization.
Capabilities & Skills Required
In order to take on these challenges, you’ll need to have:
Applied understanding and usage of end-to-end supply chain processes.
Proficient computer skills, including advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities.
Ability to lead by assuming ownership and accountability, including the ability to influence key stakeholders.
Strong analytical, decision making, organizational, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem resolution and strategic thinking.
Demonstrated proficiency with Planning and Manufacturing software (Kinaxis Rapid Response preferred).
Sound understanding of Lean principles, including the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and drive continuous improvement efforts.
Significant understanding of how supply planning decisions impact company financials.

Annual Pay Range
$91,328.00 - $136,940.00This represents the minimum and maximum base salary range for this role, plus annual incentive. Various elements are used to determine a candidate’s starting salary such as job experience, specific skills, and comparison to internal incumbents currently in the role.
