To amplify and evolve our capabilities across Science and Research & Development, we’re pleased to welcome Dr. Stewart Townsend Ph.D. Dr. Townsend joins Pharmavite as Senior Vice President, Research and Development, and will lead Science, R&D and Regulatory Affairs for Nature Made.
With more than 25 years of progressive R&D experience across global food & beverage organizations such as KraftHeinz, Danone, Tyson, and Mars, Dr. Townsend is well poised to lead our R&D approach and capabilities while maintaining our unwavering commitment to industry-leading science. He holds a PhD in Chemistry from University College of Swansea in Wales, UK, and is a values-driven, results-focused leader who combines deep technical expertise with strong commercial orientation.
Dr. Townsend is looking forward to relocating back to the Los Angeles area, where Pharmavite is headquartered. He is also looking forward to rediscovering the mountains and lakes where he enjoys spending his free time. Dr. Townsend has two children, with a daughter in the music industry in Los Angeles and a son beginning his finance career in Tampa, Florida.
