POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Manager for Media Analytics will be instrumental in driving the company's media strategy through comprehensive measurement, insightful analysis, and innovative optimization. This role involves leading the media analytics team, driving test & learn to uncover actionable insights, optimizing media investment scenarios, and spearheading the integration of advanced data science capabilities to enhance media performance. This person will report directly to the Director, Marketing Analytics.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Critical contributions this role is counted on to deliver include:
Leadership & Strategy:
- Lead the media analytics team, providing direction, mentorship, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive media measurement strategy that aligns with business objectives.
- Ensure the team remains updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in media analytics.
Media Measurement & Analysis:
- Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of media spend data across various channels.
- Assess the effectiveness of media campaigns and provide actionable insights.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to track media performance
Optimization and Scenario Planning:
- Identify opportunities for optimizing media spend and improving campaign performance.
- Conduct scenario planning and predictive modeling to forecast media outcomes and guide investment decisions.
- Implement A/B testing and other experimental designs to validate optimization strategies.
Data Science
- Champion the integration of data science capabilities into media analytics processes.
- Collaborate with IT, external data providers and data scientists to develop and deploy machine learning models that enhance media measurement and optimization.
Collaboration
- Collaborate with brand activation, brand marketing, sales and DTC teams to ensure alignment on media measurement goals and strategies.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
- Foster strong relationships with media agency, external partners and vendors to leverage best practices and tools.
IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in media analytics, serving as a thought leader on measuring marketing success and leading the media test & learn agenda. They will be adept at defining key KPIs and audience targets to determine campaign success. Additionally, the candidate will have a proven track record of producing actionable insights to optimize digital marketing efforts across social media, search engine, and direct-to-consumer (DTC) channels.
Leadership skills are crucial, as the candidate will lead the media analytics team, ensuring they stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies. The candidate must also have the ability to navigate complex, matrix organizations and collaborate across departments to understand goals and define strategic plans. Expertise in storytelling with data is essential, as the candidate will need to socialize insights in a clear and compelling manner that enables decision-making among stakeholder groups.

CAPABILITIES & SKILLS REQUIRED
In order to take on these challenges, you'll need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent. Masters in Market Research/Analytics or MBA with a quantitative focus preferred
- 5+ years professional experience in a marketing analytical role
- Previous experience leading a team of experts at managers level
- Mastery in media measurement methodologies such as lift, matched market, MMM, attribution
- Knowledge and applied experience in integrated, multi-channel marketing/advertising campaign tactics
- Knowledge of media planning tools (IRI, Nielsen) and web analytics platforms

SALARY RANGE
National Target Base Pay Range: $135,000 - $229,000. The salary range for this position is based on national standards. For candidates in California and New York metro the Target Base Pay Range is $150,000 - $254,000, to reflect the cost of living and market conditions in those areas.
Actual compensation will take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location, education, experience, qualifications and job-related skills. It is not typical for an individual to be hired above the midpoint of the range for their role and compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. This information is provided to applicants in accordance with state and local laws.
Base pay is only one component of our total rewards offerings, and we will take the full offering into consideration when presenting an offer of employment. Our total rewards package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, Medical, dental and vision benefits, 401K match, and other wellness benefits.
