Associate Manager, Media Analytics
West Hills, CA
The Associate Manager, Media Analytics will focus on uncovering insights to inform content strategy, website optimizations and best practices for our branded website and across retailer ecommerce platforms. This individual will leverage web analytics, secondary data and primary research to understand how the consumer is behaving on our brand website, and more importantly, the why behind the behavior so we can identify ways to improve the experience. This position will collaborate closely with our Digital Marketing and e-commerce teams. The Associate Manager, Media Analytics will be an integral member of the Insights & Analytics team, and will report to the Director, Analytics.
Critical contributions this role is counted on to deliver include:
Lead the development and execution of a research roadmap to inform strategies for content and consumer journey on branded website
Analyze research, best practices, and competitive insights to develop recommendations to optimize customer experience and conversion
Collaborate with e-commerce and customer marketing teams to proactively develop research initiatives that provide insights and recommendations to support strategic initiatives
Define, design, execute and socialize a range of research studies that develop a deep understanding of our consumer/shopper
Identify best practices in existing and emerging research methodologies
Perform other related duties as assigned
The ideal candidate is passionate about impacting business decisions, curious about data and driven to find meaningful explanations for how consumers and shoppers behave and why they do what they do. You are able to adapt your working style and delivery based on the audience, focus on telling impactful stories with data, and be flexible in refining your stories to have greater impact. You like to connect the dots across projects and data to tell a holistic story.
You’ll be most successful in this role if you have:
Proven track record in analyzing and using a range of quantitative data to develop insights and recommendations
A balance of creative and analytics skills with the ability to proactively define research objectives, identify methodologies, execute research, and synthesize findings into actionable recommendations.
Curiosity and passion for understanding customers’ attitudes and behaviors and using that information to develop recommendations.
Strong persuasion and influencing skills both up and down the management organization
Confidence to work and make decisions independently

To take on these challenges, you’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.
2-5 years of digital insights/analytics experience, preferably with a DTC or SAAS company
Proficiency with Google Analytics including segmentations, tagging, double-click and paid media tracking
Experience optimizing funnels and translating test results into recommendations, with a focus on conversion optimization
Demonstrated experience in product research and/or user experience (UX) research

Annual Pay Range$111,700.00 - $167,500.00
This represents the minimum and maximum base salary range for this role, plus annual incentive. Various elements are used to determine a candidate’s starting salary such as job experience, specific skills, and comparison to internal incumbents currently in the role.
