The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for providing insightful management reporting to the supply chain organization and developing financial models to guide strategic decisions. This role will oversee and actively manage multiple departments’ budgets and optimize month end reporting. The Senior Financial Analyst reports to the Finance Supply Chain, Manager. 

Critical contributions this role is counted on to deliver include: 

  • Gathers data and develops financial models to drive efficiencies within supply chain and product costs 

  • Supports the supply chain in development of the annual operating plan, financial forecasts, and strategic plans 

  • Partners with assigned departments to actively manage budgets and the monthly close process, in line with company policy and GAAP 

  • Prepare monthly general ledger account analysis and journal entries as needed 

  • Conducts ad-hoc analyses as needed to support operational decision making and improve profitability 

 

The ideal candidate is a go-getter, detailed-oriented, organized, and curious. You understand how to take ownership of budgets, enjoy working cross-functionally, and you are comfortable working with senior management. In addition, you are process-oriented and love using data and metrics to inform decisions. 

 

You’ll be most successful in this role if you have: 

  • Self-motivation, drive, and sense of urgency to meet deadlines while maintaining strong relationships with internal business partners 

  •  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for process improvements 

  • The ability to think ‘big-picture’ and understand the key trends and levers that drive a business 

To take on these challenges, you’ll need to have: 

  •  3+ years experience in Finance, Business Analytics, Accounting, or a related field 

  • Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in Accounting or Finance 

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial modeling 

  •  Knowledge of profit/loss statement preparation, balance sheet relationships, and annual budget process. Working knowledge of GAAP 

  • Preferred experience working in a manufacturing environment. CPG industry also preferred.  

  •  Large ERP system experience, JD Edwards preferred

Annual Pay

Annual Pay Range

$99,700.00 - $149,600.00

This represents the minimum and maximum base salary range for this role, plus annual incentive. Various elements are used to determine a candidate’s starting salary such as job experience, specific skills, and comparison to internal incumbents currently in the role.  This information is provided to applicants in accordance with state and local laws.
