The Key Account Manager contributes to the development, management and growth of Albertsons for Pharmavite including Nature Made, MegaFood and any new products/brands. Assists in developing and executing strategic revenue driving activities. The KAM will report to the Director, Albertsons. 

Key Responsibilities 

Critical contributions this role is counted on to deliver include: 

  • Performs sales and expense goals in assigned area of responsibility. 

  • Executes Albertsons Corporate initiatives within assigned Divisions.   

  • Responsible for approximately 7 Divisions in addition to ad hoc team projects as neededPrepare business plan and strategy in assigned Divisions to gain incremental programs. 

  • Responsible for cultivating relationships within Albertsons at the Assistant Sales Manager level and above whenever possible. 

  • Manages Pharmavite’s e-Tail business activity at Albertsons 

  • Monitors and identifies competitive activity within assigned Markets to include FDMC. 

  • Complies with all Pharmavite policies and procedures including on-time sales reports, personnel reviews, expense accounts, and meeting notes. 

  • Effectively communicates with Director divisional issues, etc. and for support and approval of account programs. 

  • Works with the Customer Marketing team to design unique marketing and promotional programs for the Albertsons.  

  • In conjunction with the account team, develops recommendations for products, product mixes, and product positioning to drive revenue.

  • Able to work well in cross functional teams. 

  • Self Starter and able to work independently. 

  • Excellent communication skills. 

  • Understand the P&L and selling strategy to deliver objectives. 

Capabilities & Skills Required 

In order to take on these challenges, you’ll need to have: 

  • Requires a four-year college or university degree or combination of education and experience.

  • Minimum of 3 years Field Sales experience with either a Manufacturer, Broker, or Retailer with an emphasis in HBC. 

  • Experience with Albertsons (Corporate or Divisions) is preferred. 

  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite. 

  • Knowledge of Circana (IRI), Symphony and Apollo preferred. 

  • Strong Analytical Skills. 

  • Ability to travel 35-40% including overnight.

Annual Pay

Annual Pay Range

$95,428.00 - $143,090.00

This represents the minimum and maximum base salary range for this role, plus annual incentive. Various elements are used to determine a candidate’s starting salary such as job experience, specific skills, and comparison to internal incumbents currently in the role.  This information is provided to applicants in accordance with state and local laws.
